Destination Overview
About this destination
Ladakh is a high-altitude region in the trans-Himalaya, known for its stark moonscapes, turquoise high-altitude lakes, ancient Buddhist monasteries and some of the highest motorable passes in the world. Often called Little Tibet, it sits at altitudes from 9,000 ft in Leh to over 19,000 ft on its passes.
Ladakh is India's most popular high-altitude road-trip and bike-trip destination. Our Ladakh tour packages cover bike trips from Delhi, Srinagar and Leh, the Nubra Valley, Pangong Lake, Hanle and the Umling La — the highest motorable road in the world.

- Fuel is scarce beyond Leh; tank up and carry jerry cans on long rides.
